Wet and cold day

    It was a really cold,wet and windy day today along with a long drive which made it hard to shoot today. We got out in a small town on a different island connect by a very long underground tunnel. It was frustrating with the weather as almost every day is overcast, cold, rainy and windy. It makes for somewhat moody pictures, but it would be nice to have a few with some blue skies mixed in. I guess a bit of frustration is setting in.

 

 

On the other hand, these massive waterfalls are so commonplace, it's pretty impressive how much water there is up in the hills making its way down to ocean. There is some kind of very harsh and rustic nature to this country. You have to be tough to live here and simplicity and acceptance seem to be the way of life here.
